What the site stores today, and what it does not.
Controller and contact
GTAMI is responsible for the data practices described here. Privacy questions can be sent to privacy@gtami.com.
No accounts or mailing list
GTAMI currently has no user accounts, newsletter, or email subscription database. You can read the encyclopedia and use its tools without identifying yourself.
Local preferences
Theme and Launch Planner choices are stored in your browser using local storage. They are not sent to GTAMI when you use the planner or share its URL.
Site search
The search index is downloaded as static files and searched inside your browser. GTAMI does not currently receive or store the words you enter in search.
Hosting and security data
Cloudflare provides hosting, caching, DNS, and protection against abuse. Like most hosting providers, Cloudflare may process technical request data such as an IP address, browser details, requested URL, and security signals to deliver and protect the site.
Yandex Metrica and Webvisor
After you allow analytics, GTAMI loads Yandex Metrica (counter 112799162) to measure visits and map usage. Metrica may use cookies and process visited page URLs, browser and device information, technical request data, and interactions with the site. Webvisor records page interactions to help identify usability issues. On the map, we also measure opening place cards and following article and source links.
GTAMI does not load Metrica before permission or when you decline. Your choice is stored in your browser and can be changed through Analytics settings in the footer. Declining after allowing stops further collection after the page reloads, but does not delete data already sent. Read about Yandex’s data handling in the Yandex Privacy Policy.
Advertising and future changes
GTAMI advertising placements are currently disabled. This policy and the relevant controls will be updated before they are enabled.
Your rights
If you have a privacy request, write to privacy@gtami.com. Where applicable, you may also complain to your local data-protection authority.
Independence
GTAMI is an independent fan project and is not affiliated with Rockstar Games or Take-Two Interactive.
